Lord,
What are my motives? I am asked today by you to examine my motives for this blog. Is this just noisy words, or are they from love and true compassion? Is this a show or do I truly desire for France to be saved? Do I see France as you see it,, or is this blog just a way to visit my favorite vacation spot or my dream home?
Lord, I pray that my motives are pure and that I do this to honor you and to come before your throne on the behalf of a nation. Lord, you ask us to pray in private but you also ask us to come together and pray in agreement. Yet here I am out on a public form crying out to you. Here I stand on the street corner of cyber world begging for your mercy. Remove any wrong motives from my heart.
Lord, I pray that you understand my heart and this blog is not for show, but to honor you. This page is here to call others to pray for the nation of France. Use this page for your honor and glory and not mine. I pray that as we, as a body of believers, pray together you will be in our mists and you will hear our prayers. Be faithful to France and allow your Word to be preached and heard among the millions. Bring your Word to each heart and mind so that they may choose you.
I humbly ask for your reveling Holy Spirit to stay active in my life and in the lives of those in France.
In your precious Name, I pray.
Amen

Today is the day of Salvation

2 Corinthians 5:20-6:2
5:20 We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God.
5:21 God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
6:1 As God's fellow workers we urge you not to receive God's grace in vain.
6:2 For he says, "In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you." I tell you, now is the time of God's favor, now is the day of salvation.
Dear Jesus,
You are my perfect sacrifice. You took all my sins upon your body and paid for them on the cross. You bore my shame and sin so that I might become the righteousness of God. You did all of this for me and yet I live my life, my way without thought or consideration of the what this act of love cost you and the Father.
Jesus forgive me of my selfish ease in which I live. Show me today the cost you paid. Remind me each morning as I rise that you loved me so much that you willingly strecthed out your arms for me.
Lord, I desire to live a life that honors the cost by which I am redeemed. I realize that with out your daily living in me I am unable to live this Life. Holy Spirit live through me and use me as yours. Thank you for loving me. Today is my salvation.
I pray washed in the blood of Jesus.
Amen
Lord, bring Salvation to France today. If I can be part of that use me.

Return to God with all your Heart
Joel 2:12-14
"Even now," declares the Lord, "return to me with all your heart, with fasting and weeping and mourning."
2:13
Rend your heart and not your garments. Return to the Lord your God, for he is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love, and he relents from sending calamity.
2:14
Who knows? He may turn and have pity and leave behind a blessing-- grain offerings and drink offerings for the Lord your God.
Lord, during this time of year remind us to come to you and give you our whole heart. Lord, yesterday we ask you to cleanse our heart and to create in us a clean one. Lord, today we give you our heart. Please dwell in our hearts today.
Lord, I pray for the nation of France that they will return their hearts to God. Cause a great need for you. Create a way for them to know you and turn to you with undivided hearts.
God you are a gracious and compassionate Father, slow to anger and abounding in love. I pray that France will see you this way and run to you with open arms and hearts.
Have pity on us today and hear our prayer.
In the name of Your Son Jesus, I pray.
Amen

Ash Wednesday

Psalm 51:1-12
Dear and Holy Father,
Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love; according to your great compassion blot out my transgressions. Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin. For I know my transgressions, and my sin is always before me. Against you, you only, have I sinned and done what is evil in your sight, so that you are proved right when you speak and justified when you judge. Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me. Surely you desire truth in the inner parts; you teach me wisdom in the inmost place.
Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow. Let me hear joy and gladness; let the bones you have crushed rejoice. 9 Hide your face from my sins and blot out all my iniquity. Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me. Then I will teach transgressors your ways, and sinners will turn back to you.
Save me from bloodguilt, O God, the God who saves me, and my tongue will sing of your righteousness. O Lord, open my lips, and my mouth will declare your praise. You do not delight in sacrifice, or I would bring it; you do not take pleasure in burnt offerings. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.
In the Name of Jesus, I pray.
Amen

Send out your Word

2 Thessalonians 3:1-5
1 Finally, brothers, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may speed ahead and be honored, as happened among you, 2 and that we may be delivered from wicked and evil men. For not all have faith. 3 But the Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one. 4 And we have confidence in the Lord about you, that you are doing and will do the things that we command. 5 May the Lord direct your hearts to the love of God and to the steadfastness of Christ.
Lord, I pray this prayer for the region of Poitou Charentes.
Father, please make it possible for your word to be spread through out this region with out hindrance. I pray that the people in this region will hear God's word and it will not return void. May all who speak the word of God glorify him in all they say. Lord, if there is no one in this region who can speak your word I pray that you will bring them by the hundreds and I pray their voices will sound loud and clear.
Lord, protect all those who know you from evil and deliver us from evil men. Thank you Lord for your faithfulness to us and to this region of France. Lord direct our hearts to the love of God and to the steadfastness of Christ.
Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in every way.
I pray in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Amen

Our whole heart

Ps 86:11
Teach me your way, O Lord, and I will walk in your truth; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name.
Father,
This month of February I desire to have an undivided heart. Lord, I pray that in the next few week I will learn how to have an undivided heart and what that means to you. Lord, I know that you desire to be the Lord of all and so, I knee before you and offer my heart to you. If there is any part of my heart that I have kept for myself I pray that it will be revealed so that I may give it to you completely and undivided.
Lord, I pray for the land of France. I pray for all the hearts that do not belong to you. Lord grow within each heart a longing for you. Give each person an opportunity to hear the gospel message clearly so that they can open their hearts and receive your gift of love. Teach us Oh Lord.
I pray in the name of Jesus
Amen

Lost souls

Lord,
France is a country filled with many people from all around the world. I know that many African men and women have come to France for work, education, and many other reasons. Lord, many come already knowing you so I pray that they will find other believers in France to worship and to grow in you together. Others Lord come not knowing you. Today Lord, I pray for these.
I pray that they will have an opportunity to hear the gospel of Christ while they live in France. Bring christian into their daily life so that they will have the chance to understand and to see your love. Lord, I ask for their salvation. I cry out to you for the redemption of their souls. Lord, bring your love and light into their hearts. I pray that they will turn to you and accept all that you have to offer them. I pray that one day in heaven I will meet them and rejoice with them. I thank you for your salvation which you have provided for us all.
Lord, let them hear the good news loud and clear.
I pray in the name of Jesus my Savior.
Amen
