Serving you Lord on your Day

Today Lord was your day. I pray that many people heard Your Word preached through out France. Lord I continue to find missionaries in France doing your work. I pray for them as they serve you faithfully. Give them the strength they need to do their calling. Help them to remain in your joy and rest. I pray that they find you yoke easy and your burden light. Give them your peace, let it flood their hearts and minds. Build a wall about them and protect them from fear and doubts. Thank you for their love for you and for the lost in France. I can't wait to meet them one day and see all that they are doing. Thank you for each and everyone of them.

Trusting you for them and all that they need.
I pray in Jesus.

Protect them Lord

Dear Jesus,
Be with our children as they go to school. Help them to be smart about their friendships and choices that they make. Lord, bring your Word back into the schools. Provide ways for Christians to teach the children about you. Bring Christians as teachers, principals and other employees at the school. Surround the children of France with people who love them and love you. Help them to understand that you have created them and that you have good plans for their lives. Lord, lead the next generation back to you. Lord, we give our children to you. Help us to raise them as you desire us to do. I pray that they will grow up and live for you. Thank you for loving us all and making salvation simple enough for small children.
I pray in the arms of Jesus.
Amen

Help us to believe.

Lord, help us and the people of France to believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, his only begotten Son, our Lord. Teach us the importance of Jesus being conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Mary a virgin. Help us to accept His crucifixion, death burial and that he descended into hell and on the third day he rose again from the dead as the payment for our sins.

Thank you for His ascended into heaven, and that Jesus sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty, from there he shall come to judge the quick and the dead.

Thank you for giving us the Holy Spirit who lives in us and guides by teaching us your Word. Thank you that the Holy Spirit will remain with us till you return.

Lord bring about a strong church in France, that daily preaches the Word of God so that many will come to hear of your great love and salvation. Be with the communion of saints. Help us to lift each other up and encourage one another to run the race, you have picked for us.

Thank you for giving us forgiveness, when we come to you and confess our sins. Thank you for the righteousness that Christ has provided for me, and for the resurrection of the body of Christ. Thank you for the resurrection of this body one day to come. Thank you for the life everlasting which only you can provide.

I pray that all of France will hear and believe these truths.
I pray in the Name of Jesus.
Amen.

Keep the Sabbath

Exodus 20:8-11
Remember the sabbath day, and keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work. But the seventh day is a sabbath to the LORD your God; you shall not do any work--you, your son or your daughter, your male or female slave, your livestock, or the alien resident in your towns. For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but rested the seventh day; therefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day and consecrated it.

Lord,
Sunday is your day. Help us to get back to resting physically on this day and spending time with you in worship. Help us to see that 6 days is enough. I think it all goes back to doing things our way. From the beginning of time you set up a plan to have the Sabbath kept holy and restful. Lord, show us how to make this principle true in our own lives. Slow us down on Sunday and help us to remember that this day is your day.

I pray in the name of Jesus
Amen

Enlighten Us Oh, Lord.

Psalms 19:7-8
The law of the LORD is perfect, reviving the soul; the decrees of the LORD are sure, making wise the simple; the precepts of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the LORD is clear, enlightening the eyes;

Dear Holy Father,
Through your clear commandments we are enlightened. Lord, let your clear commandments be taught throughout France. Give your servants clear and precise voices as they teach your Word. Lord, true understanding and wisdom come from you. Teach us this simple truth. I know that the educational world around us would argue that point very strongly, but Lord I ask for you to break down that wall. Make clear the lies we have all been taught. Teach us your truth Oh, Lord.

I pray that France will be a leading nation in Europe to come to you for wisdom. To trust in your commandments and laws. Let them lead Europe back to Christ. We need you as our Creator, Lord, Savior and Father in our nation here and in France.I pray that we will trust in your Word.
I pray in the Word that became flesh, My Jesus.
Amen

Raise up Godly Parents

Exodus 20:5-6
You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I the LORD your God am a jealous God, punishing children for the iniquity of parents, to the third and the fourth generation of those who reject me, but showing steadfast love to the thousandth generation of those who love me and keep my commandments.

Lord,
France needs godly parents. Help us to raise up families that honor and glorify you. Teach us your ways of doing relationships right so that our children will be blessed. Lord, help us to teach our children how to keep you in the center of their lives and on the throne of their hearts. Teach them that all good things come from you and your steadfast love is an every good thing. I pray for French parents who will love you and keep your commandments. Let your truth be passed down from generation to generation along with your love.
I pray in the steadfast love of Jesus.
Amen.

We need God

I Cor. 1:25
For God's foolishness is wiser than human wisdom, and God's weakness is stronger than human strength.

I was listening to talk radio yesterday and a women was disagreeing with the host. He had made the comment on the air that, for our Country to heal we needed to put God back in his Rightful place in our Nation. She felt that you do not need a God to be Conservative or for our nation to be healthy and prosperous. She felt that since the time our founding Fathers had begun our nation we as humans have progressed or evolved to being better species and we no longer needed God.

I pray for our nation as well as France. When did we stop needing God or his Word? I believe that the rejection of God is our downfall. I have seen it in Europe and other nations.

Dear Father God,
You are my Creator, Savior, Redeemer, and Friend. Why would I want to live a moment without you. I would truly be lost without you in my life, home, mind, and heart.

Lord, Thank you for remaining around us even when we turn up our noses at you and tell you that you are not needed. Lord, I pray for the women on the radio, I pray that she see her need for you before she meets you in person.

Lord, many people in France have this same philosophy and have never seen a need for you. Lord, I pray that as your Word is preached and as Christians live their lives boldly and outwardly before others that the nation of France and the United States will see our need for You. Continue to send out your message across the radio, television, and person to person. Lord, I pray for a great harvest of souls in both nations. Bring us back to the knowledge our founding Fathers had 200+ years ago.
I pray that we need you today more than ever.
In your Holy name, Jesus.
Amen

A confession to make

Mark 8:34-37
He called the crowd with his disciples, and said to them, "If any want to become my followers, let them deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. For those who want to save their life will lose it, and those who lose their life for my sake, and for the sake of the gospel, will save it. For what will it profit them to gain the whole world and forfeit their life? Indeed, what can they give in return for their life?

I have a confession to make. The last two days I did not enter a prayer in the blog for France and I know that it is not a big deal, but it is because God asked me to be faithful during Lent and pray each day for France on the Blog. I had time yesterday, but I chose to use my time for my selfish desires. I made an excuse and rationalized my behavior (sin). This morning during Bible study Jesus tugged at my heart. I had failed to deny myself and obey. He showed me my sin and I needed to confess them as sin and ask for forgiveness.

I lay down my cross for the silliest things. Pray for me that I will be faithful till the end, and if He ask for me to continue on a daily bases then I will be faithful till the end. I am coming to realize our time here on earth is not about success but about faithfulness.

Lord, help us to be faithful till the end. Help us to pray for France and others who need you faithfully each and everyday. Be with us as we continue to pray for France. I pray for those who serve you faithfully in France and for France. Help them to be faithful to what you have called them to be and do. Give them the courage and strength to faithfully take up their cross and follow you.

Thank you, for your forgiveness and your strength to do all things through Christ who strengthens us. I desire to stand faithful. Thank you for helping me to do what you have called me to do.

I humbly pray,
In the Name and blood of Jesus, who washes away my sin.
Amen.

You are Lord

Psalm 22:27- 28
All the ends of the earth shall remember and turn to the LORD; and all the families of the nations shall worship before him. For dominion belongs to the LORD, and he rules over the nations.

I am so glad you are in control. I pray for the nation of France. I ask for your mercy and forgiveness to be pour out upon the people of France. Lord as a nation France has committed many sins. Be with the campers this week at camp. Stir hearts and save souls.
Thank you for having dominion and being Lord of Lords, and King of Kings.

The Alpha and the Omega

Romans 4:16-21
For this reason it depends on faith, in order that the promise may rest on grace and be guaranteed to all his descendants, not only to the adherents of the law but also to those who share the faith of Abraham (for he is the father of all of us,as it is written, "I have made you the father of many nations") --in the presence of the God in whom he believed, who gives life to the dead and calls into existence the things that do not exist. Hoping against hope, he believed that he would become "the father of many nations," according to what was said, "So numerous shall your descendants be." He did not weaken in faith when he considered his own body, which was already as good as dead (for he was about a hundred years old), or when he considered the barrenness of Sarah's womb. No distrust made him waver concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong in his faith as he gave glory to God, being fully convinced that God was able to do what he had promised.

Lord, thank you for the promises that you keep. Thank you for being a God who never changes. I know that you will keep your promises today. Lord thank you for giving life to the dead and calling in existence the things that do not exist.

Today, we ask for you to bring life from the dead in France. We ask for you to call into existence ways for your Word to be spoken. Lord, we love you and we love the French people. Lord, we desire for them to know you and to receive the life that you can bring out of our dead lives. Without you we are dead and separated from you and only through you we have life. This is the life we pray to fill each church in France, each village and town, each home and family. Let them all hear of you today. Thank you for bring life.

We will hold on to our faith in you. We will not waiver for we are fully convinced that God is able to do what he has promised. Lord, let them hear, let them understand, and let them receive you.
I pray in the name of the Alpha and the Omega.
Amen

Tell the little children

Mark 1:14-15
Now after John was arrested, Jesus came to Galilee, proclaiming the good news of God, and saying, "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God has come near; repent, and believe in the good news."

Our Father,
Come near to France. Lord, thank you for providing away for us to repent and believe in the good news. Let your good news be heard by every child in France. Bring the workers to France to spread your good news. Rise up Christian in France to have the burden to tell the children about you. Tell them that Jesus loves the little children, all the children of the world. Let them hear your story as simply as ABC,s Thank you Father for hearing our prayer.

I pray for the children of France. Help them to believe in You.
In my Saviors wonderful name Jesus. I pray.

Teach me your paths

Psalms 25:4-5
Make me to know your ways, O LORD; teach me your paths. Lead me in your truth, and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all day long.

Lord,
In Proverbs 3:5 you promise that if we trust in you with all of are heart you will make our paths straight. Here in Psalms David is asking you to teach him your paths and lead him in your truth. Lord, it would be heavenly if all people leaned on you for understanding and guidance.

Lord, I pray for the leaders of France. I ask that you bring people around them that trust in you for direction. As they make new laws, create foreign and domestic policies or as they work with the economy. Lord, I pray that they will see that the task is beyond their capabilities and they will turn to you for wisdom and guidance.

Lord, let the leaders in the churches trust in you. Teach them to lean on you for words of wisdom, comfort or encouragement as they prepare to preach on Sunday.

Lord, I ask for all of us. Teach us your paths, make me to know your ways. Lead me in your truth for you are God of my Salvation. I wait on you all the day long. Thank you Father for being my Lord.
I pray in the Name of Jesus.
Amen

Help us to be faithful and pray

Lord, I am grateful for this time of year, to be able to stop and look into my heart and soul and to see what you see.

Father, forgive me of my sins. I fall short of what I am to do each and everyday. I desire to give you and undivided heart and to wait on you as you lead me through this day. I need to wait on you as you move. Show me how you desire to use me. Thank you for being loving and patient towards me.

Father, be with my brothers and sisters in Christ in France. Those who have committed to pray for France during March. Give strength to those who are fasting. Hear our prayers as we call upon you. Help us to stand. Help us to pray without ceasing for the Church in France and for the lost. Give Pastors and Church leaders hearts that are broken. Give them hope and assurance that you will send the revival we all ask for. Begin the revival in our hearts and then in the hearts of France.

I love you and thank you for the love you give us as your children so that we can love each other.

I pray in the name of Jesus Christ.
Amen

In You I Trust

Psalm 25:1-3
To you, O LORD, I lift up my soul. O my God, in you I trust; do not let me be put to shame; do not let my enemies exult over me. Do not let those who wait for you be put to shame; let them be ashamed who are wantonly treacherous.

O Lord,
What a beautiful day you have blessed us with. I praise you for all the good gifts that you bring into my life. Thank you for providing all that I need, but Lord my heart burns with desire to see the lost of this world come to know and believe in you. I know many will refuse you, but still I pray that they will understand the gospel message.

Lord, my heart is heavy for Cherbourg a port city in Normandy. Lord, not much good is said about this city. It is a place where people come and go, but not much of any good stays. Lord, stay there. Stay in Cherbourg and create a place where many hearts are your home. Lord, make this a place where all the busy travels hear about you. See what you are doing. Bring them to you in this city of Cherbourg, France. Thank you, for wanting the hearts that are pasted by so quickly.

Thank you, for hearing this prayer. I will wait on you to answer our heart cries about France. I will continue to call upon your goodness and mercy. Like David I ask, "Please do not put me to shame for trusting and waiting on you." I will continue to be faithful for you are most faithful.
In the Name of Jesus, I pray.
Amen

God acts first

1 Peter 3:18
For Christ also suffered for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, in order to bring you to God. He was put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit,

It seems to me that God always is the first to act. He began in creation by bringing this world into existence. Then when we fell short Christ came to buy us back, to pay my debt.

Dear Father,
Thank you for being alive and active in my life. You are a God of action. Thank you for creating me and the world around me. Thank you for giving me free will, to choose you. Thank you for providing the salvation that I need to be with you, now and forever.

Father, thank you for doing this for every person in your creation. Thank you, for the people who have not yet believed and chosen you. Lord, let the message of your Word be clear and plain so that they will hear and believe. I know the Holy Spirit is working in lives to draw them to you. Please work in the hearts in France. I know that you died for them and now it is up to them to choose you. Forgive them of their attitudes of self reliance, and self knowledge. They have been a people who have turned away from you. In the past your message was taught and believed in France, but today only very few hear and believe. Lord, have mercy on us and hear our prayers. Send a great revival in France and may the world hear about you through France.

Thank you for being my Savior. Please be theirs as well.
I pray in the name of my Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ
Amen

You keep your Promises

Genesis 9:11-15
I establish my covenant with you, that never again shall all flesh be cut off by the waters of a flood, and never again shall there be a flood to destroy the earth." God said, "This is the sign of the covenant that I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for all future generations: I have set my bow in the clouds, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between me and the earth. When I bring clouds over the earth and the bow is seen in the clouds, I will remember my covenant that is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall never again become a flood to destroy all flesh.

Dear Father,
You are a God whose word stands true forever. Long ago you made a promise to Noah and to all living flesh, so in fact you made this promise to me as while. Lord each time I see the rainbow I think of you. I am reminded that you are true to your word. Your Bible is filled with many promises and you are faithful to each and every one. This is why I can place my faith in you.

I call upon this faithfulness today to ask for the labors to be sent to France to teach the nations about you. In France many different people groups live and speak French. Lord, send french speaking Christian to all the different cultures and people who live in France. Let them than return to their homes and take the Good news of Christ with them. Let this happen not only in France but in the United States, Britain, Germany, and other countries where the world gathers. Let us be a picture of your promises just like the rainbow. Thank you for your grace and mercy in giving us a chance to know and live for you.
I pray in Jesus Name.
Amen.

Psalms 25:9-10 He leads the humble in what is right, and teaches the humble his way.
All the paths of the LORD are steadfast love and faithfulness, for those who keep his covenant and his decrees.

Dear Father,
Lead those who have humbled themselves before you. Lord, teach the humble you way. Lord, I know that there are Christians in France who have come humbly before you. Lord, guide them and use them. Let others see that they honor you as GOD. Let their paths be steadfast for they desire to live by your word. Lord, Bless my Christian brothers and sisters today. Lift them up and let them know that they are being prayed for. Let them know they are loved, and we desire for them to remain faithful in their love and actions. Help them to be in your word and to grow in your knowledge and grace. May your peace be with them today and everyday.
I pray to you my Father because you are faithful.
Amen.
