Today it was amazing to see the people on the mountain. There were so many. If Christ came back today how many of those people would go to meet Him in the air? Thinking about it makes my heart break.

Lord,
I know that you know each soul by name. You know their destiny. Lord, I cry out to you to allow us the time and the means to tell each person who were on Mount Ventoux today about you. Bring people into their lives who know you and are willing to tell the good news. Lord, only you can make this happen. Lay the need to tell on Christians hearts. Give us broken hearts. Help us to see the needs of the people on Mount Ventoux. Somehow Lord, let them hear about you. I pray that you will bring salvation into their lives. They need to choose you but you have given us all free will. Thank you for dying for all those on the mountain today. Lord, I pray for the salvation of France today. In the name of Jesus. Amen

Lord, sometimes these stages in life are the ones we overlook because we have our eyes on the mountain ahead. I know that for me when I have a hard task in the near future all my other days are in a haze. Lord, the stage today is easy compared to tomorrow, but yet there is a purpose in today. Lord, help us to see each day as an opportunity to serve you. Each day as a day to spread your love. Lord, I know there will be a mountain in the future but today will be just as important. Thank you for this area of France. Lord, let your Word be spoken, heard and believed here in Aubenas. Lord, bring salvation to France. I pray in the name of Jesus.

Lord, help us to redeem the time that you have given us. Help us to use each day for your will and not our own. We humbly ask for the wisdom that we need to be wise in how we use our day. Give us the physical strength to walk worthy of your calling. Forgive us when we fail. Lord, help us to realize that our days are numbered and that we need to pedal to the end of the race. Help us to finish the race that you have set out before us. When we fall we must rely on you to give us the courage to carry on. Thank you for making your will possible through Christ Jesus. Today in the race we saw a great picture of brotherly love. Frank and Andy worked hard together to accomplish their goal today and then in the end Andy allows his brother, Frank, to take the stage win. What a picture of Romans 12 verse 10 God ask us to be devoted to one another and to honor others above our selves.

Lord, I pray that the people in this area will learn through the teaching of your word and through the working of the Holy Spirit to love and to honor each other in brotherly love. Lord, help us all to see each other as our brother and to honor one another. Thank you for a great race today, and I pray that Jens Voigt will heal quickly from his injuries.

Yesterday we ended our journey in Vittel. Today we will conclude in Colmar. Colmar is a very picturesque spot in France. Looking at the pictures reminds me of Switzerland and parts of Austria. Here in Colmar they celebrate Christmas in a big way. They have a Christmas market and this year the dates will be November 26-December 31. Pray for this area of France for as they celebrate Jesus' Birthday they will remember the life he brings.

Lord, I pray for this area of France. I pray that they will be reminded of you at Christmas. I know that the world has crowded in on your day but Lord you are the reason for our season of celebration. Lord. I pray that they will believe our your Son Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Lord, thank you for this part of the world and the people who live their. I know that you would be over joyed if they would believe in you. Please Lord let the joyous Noel be your everlasting peace. If you have been watching the race you have seen the Vittel water ads all over the race. Vittel is a natural mineral water from this department of Vosges in the Northeast France. In Vittel there is a spa called Les Thermes de Vittel which uses this special water to reduce fatigue, increase energy and beautify the skin. Our Lord and Savior said " whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed , the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life." John 4:14. Lord we all need your water. Thank you for this reminder on the route today.

Lord, I pray for France and for their need for your living water. I pray that as people are in Vittel today they will remember that you are only the one who can provide living water. Help us to lead people to you so that they can taste and see that the Lord is good. Thank you for quenching our thirst and providing life to us. I pray that your water will flow through France as a spring of water welling up to eternal life. In the name of Jesus my living water. Amen

Today they raced through some pretty countryside. I love to watch the pictures of the sunflower fields and the vineyard. God made France to have some beautiful places.

Lord, Thank you for the beauty of this earth and for all the wonder of your creation. The sunflowers are so simple but yet so awesome when in mass. Lord, you have also created people as part of your creation. Thank you for the souls that we see on the side of the road. Lord, I pray that they will know you not only as the creator but also as their Savior. Lord, thank you for your grace today. Thank you for bringing back my computer to life and giving me a picture of grace. Thank you for giving us grace when we desire death as our penalty for sin. Lord, thank you for your wonderful gift of grace. I pray in Jesus' Name Amen.

Etape 10 Limoges - Issoudum 194.5 km

Limoges is the Porcelain capital of France Toward the end of the 18Th century Kaolin was finally discovered around Limoges. They not only produce porcelain but also oak barrels for Cognac, shoes and automobiles.
Limoges has around 136,000 residents and it is the capital of Haute-Vienne Department in west central France on the Vienne River. They have 44square meter of greenery per resident, this makes them on of the highest "green" cities in France.



Issoudum
Issoudun is located in the department of Indre close to the historical province of Berry. 14,000 people live in this friendly town.

Lord, as the riders race between these two cities they will be riding without a radio to speak to their team car. This reminds me of the days I leave home without taking the time to hook up with you. Lord, today will be a challenge for the riders with out knowing what is coming up next. Lord, I pray that I will remember to always be in contact with you so that you can guide me and speak to me. Lord, I want to hear you. Lord, I pray that the Christians in France and in this region will desire to hook up with you in their daily lives. We need communication with you on a daily basis. Thank you for this visual reminder of this truth. I pray in Jesus name Amen.

Today is a rest day for the tour, but God has asked us to pray without ceasing. So today we pray for the country as a whole.

Lord, Thank you for the country of France. As we watch the tour we see the beauty of the countryside, the cities and the small villages. Lord, France is filled with many people from many parts of this world, therefore I see it as a wonderful place to reach many nations. Lord, be with us as we continue to sow the seed and water and wait for you to bring the harvest. Thank you for all who work in your field here in France. I pray that the church will continue to be obedient and tell the good news of Jesus Christ. I pray in the blessed name of Jesus. The Lamb who is worthy of our praise. Amen

Team Quick Step is a good team from the Netherlands, but this year they have struggled with success here at the tour. Tom Boonen is one for their sprinters that you will hear them speak of. Tom uses cocaine. Let us pray that he will see that cocaine is not a good drug for his body and that he will get the help he needs to stop using this drug. Pray that God will intervene in Tom's life and that Tom will see his need for God and have the courage to seek out God's help. Pray for his salvation. Pray for his family and his girlfriend. Only God knows who needs him on this team. Pray for the whole team

Like the teams today, we have our plan for the day. We must go to all nations and teach them all the things that Jesus Christ has taught us. Today in the race is the longest day and they have a very large mountain to climb. I know that doing God's work can seem like we are climbing a mountain that will not stop. Let us not grow tired but continue to push up the mountain. Let us continue to go knowing that Jesus is with us as we go.

This team is one man down Piet Rooijakkers has fractured his left arm. He has had surgery but is still in pain. Yesterday Skil had a man in the breakaway. They are a team that is racing in the tour because they were invited. They are riding a good race so far.

Today we spend the day in Spain, in the historical part of Catalonia. It is fun to come to cities in Europe that have their history full of many different people groups. Here you will find influences from France, Spain, Catalonia, Arabian, Romans, and Christians.

Our Father,

Thank you for creating us with many different characteristic. Thank you for the beauty of architecture and music and food that enrich our lives. You have created beauty all around us. The beauty of France and now Spain shows us that you are a wonderful creator. Thank you for all the people who live in this region of the world. You have given them a beautiful country to live.

Yesterday's team time trials were very interesting to watch. It was good for some and horrible for others. I am afraid there will be some very sore bodies riding today.

Holy Father,
I pray for the southwest part of France today. I pray that they will see their personal need for God. I hope that they will soon believe that you are real and do exist. I pray that they will learn that you love and care for them very much. Lord, show them that without your plan of salvation they will spend an eternity separated from you. Columbia is an American based team owned and operated by High Road Sports Inc. They have men's and women's teams. Yes, here at the tour there is also a women's tour going on at the same time as the men's. Sorry to say we don't hear much about them. Today pray for this group of people, they are in the media a lot so pray that those who know God will be a Godly influence for us all. Pray that we will be able to tell the Christians by attitude and speech. Pray for those who are not saved. Pray that they will be able to see their personal need for a savior and turn to Jesus Christ.

Today are team Time Trials here in Montpellier. This city was not built by the Romans like some we saw yesterday. It was built in the 900 AD during the Middle ages. Many Jews lived and helped with the establishment of this city. It was the first to have a medical school in the country of France. It is still teaching medicine today. During the 1500's this walled city became a refuge for the Protestants during the wars. Today 244,000 people live in this city. Today pray for the strength of believers to be the light of this city.

Lord, let your light shine here in Montpellier, I pray that many will come to know you this year. Bring missionaries to work in this city. Help the Christians to build relationship with nonbelievers. Lord, increase the influence of the church in this city. Let your word be boldly spoken through out so many will come to know you. Lord, let salvation come to this city. Let it be filled with people who believe in you. Thank you for it history continue to bless them for their kindness to the Jews and then latter to the protestants. Each team has many riders but they also have trainers, coaches, mechanics, cooks, wives, children , extended family. So as we pray for Saxo Bank pray for all who are involved. Pray that someone as part of this team know Jesus and they are witnessing to those who they know. Pray that the message is clear and that God will use them to show His great love to others.

How to pray through the tour.

Today was a great TT. It was great to see the countryside and the city. As you see the picture pray for salvation for the people who stand on the roadside. Pray for the Christians who live and work in these cities. Pray for the churches that they will be bold and teach the truth. They will continue to serve our Lord. Pray that God will send missionaries to these regions. Pray that Christians will be in the schools, government, work place and in the cafes on the street. Pray that wherever they go they will see God at work and will speak of Him. Pray that all who live in France will come to know our Lord and Savior for themselves.

Monaco is a principality along the Mediterranean Sea. 32,000 people live in Monaco and 9,000 of these are French. Each day 28,000 French come to Monaco to work. This is the first time in Tour history that the tour began in Monaco. Today will be a time trial.

Lord, hear our prayer today. We pray for the harvest is plentiful but the workers are few, so Lord we ask you the Lord of the Harvest. Please send out the workers into your harvest field here in Monaco and in France. Lord, there are many here that need to hear your word of salvation. Prepare hearts and send believers to speak your message. Thank you for hearing our prayer. I pray in the name of Jesus our Saviour. Amen

Lord, this month through France is the Tour de France. I don't know how you can do this but Lord could your word be heard as the tour goes through the country. I pray for the country of France. It is filled with very proud people. They depend on what they know. Their minds are filled with intellect and knowledge but so little of this is about you. Many do not even believe you exist. I pray that they will become simple like children, who still believe in you. Lord, soften their hearts and minds and let them see you at work as children can. Let them believe in you. Let them change and become like little children so that they might enter the kingdom of heaven.
Lord, let me see you through the eyes of a child and change me today.
I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen

Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."


Lord, I pray that through the summer as the Churches and missionaries are presenting children programs let there be fruit. Let the little children come to know you this summer. I pray they will see the love of Christ and desire to know You.

Lord, let your words be spoken clearly and simply so that all children can understand. Lord, let this be a fruitful summer for your believers. I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen
