On a tough mountain stage Pierre Rolland of Europcar brings home the victory, with his countryman Pinot coming in 2nd place 55 seconds later. Pierre Rolland was able to find the breakaway and succeed. On the last descent Rolland found himself on the ground as he took one of the sharp corners, but he got back on his bike with determination to win. Rolland now has two Tour de France stage wins, one last year and now this stage. Congratulation to Pierre Rolland for not holding back and winning it all on Stage 11.
