Praying for Aisne France

Father,
Today we pray for the department of Aisne located in the region of Picardie in the northern area of France.  Lord, the pictures of this area remind us of sacrifices made for the freedom of France. Our eyes are drawn to the  white crosses  knowing that each one represents a life given for each of us.  Father, my eye is also drawn to the Cross on Calvary, Lord, I pray that the people of Aisne will find the life your death on the cross can provide for each one who comes to You.  Lord, we pray that the people of Aisne will come to seek and find the foot of the cross.  We pray all these things in the name of Jesus.  Amen.

1 Peter 2:24“He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.”
