Once more we are in the French Alps with a great day of climbing.  Today as they go let us take the time to pray for Camp des Cimes.  Camp des Cimes is holding their family summer camps during the month of July.  Pray that many will hear the gospel and that the Holy Spirit will be fee to change lives. 

Lord, thank you for Camps all over France that are sharing the gospel of Christ.  It is a wonderful opportunity to be able to come to a place like Camp des Cimes and see the beauty of your creation and meet you and to learn more about your grace.  Lord, we ask that you more in hearts.  Give wisdom and strength to those who are serving at camp sharing your love and grace.  Let many grow in your grace this summer at Camp des Cimes.  We pray all these things in the name of Jesus.  Amen

Camp de Famille Ski

Time for Family Ski camp at Camp Des Cimes.  Pray this week as families come together to learn about Christ and wonder in His creation.  Pray for safety and fun, but pray that God will be able to move in hearts and lives.

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

Isère is home to over 1 million people.  Found in the Alpes it is a perfect place to hit the slopes.  Camp des Cimes is here at Bourg d’Oisans.  Camp des Cimes has been ministering to people of France since 1967.  They have weekend retreats, summer camps, ski camps, and other actives.  Ever think about going to the Alpes and working at a christian camp.  Send them an e-mail and let them know that you would love to help, and they would love it too.  I hope and pray to go soon. 

Lord,
Thank you that you chosen to speak to us through your Word.  It is only through this act of mercy that we can know You.  Thank you for the written word that has been pasted down to us.  We know that when we read and study your word we learn more about you, but also more about ourselves.  Thank you for the instruction and correction that the Bible provides for us each day.

 Lord, here in Isère we can find Camp Des Cimes sitting in the peeks of your beautiful Alpes.  Thank you for their faithfulness in teaching your Word to all who come.  Lord, I pray that they will stand strong and preach the full gospel of Jesus Christ.  Let many hearts be redeemed and lives changed for eternity.  Thank you for giving us the Truth through your scriptures.  Bless all who come to Camp Des Cimes with soft hearts willing to hear from You.  Thank you again for all who minister for you here in the peeks of Isère.
 I pray in the name of Jesus.

snow was good, weather cooperated, average age of campers came down this year (more in their 30's), Bible studies well-received, welcoming group. Thanks for the prayers.

Sport Camp

Camp Des Cimes is having Sport Camp next week. March 7-14.

Dear Heavenly Father,
Camp time is always a wonderful time to get away from daily life and be out in the beauty of your world and hear the quietness. I pray that in the quietness of the mountains and snow they will hear you. Give them time away from the noise of life to be still and to know that you are God, Holy and True. Thank you for Camp des Cimes and I pray that the leadership team will be ready physically and spiritually to minister to the campers who come. Provide safety and enjoyment as they learn of you. Bring lost souls to camp this next week so that they can learn the Gospel and believe on our Lord Jesus Christ. Make this the best time in the snow. I pray all these things in the name of our Savior Jesus Christ. Amen

Lord, thank you for Camp des Cimes. We pray for camp this week and ask that your hand of safety will be there each and everyday. Bless each family as they learn more about you. Strengthen each family and raise up families who will serve you all over France. We pray in Jesus' name. Amen
