Praying for Loire

 Dear Father, we begin the day in Loire in the village of Boën-sur-Lignon.  Lord, we read your promise in Isaiah 65: 24 And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.  Hear us this day as we pray for this region of France.   You know our heart as we pray for Your Church in France, for those who serve you.  Strengthen them,  and remind them that You hear them as they call upon You.  Thank You for your faithfulness to your children.  We pray in the name of Jesus.  Amen.

Praying for Loire

Luke 9:23

And He said to them all, “If any man will come after Me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.

Lord, Remind us as we see the cross here in Loire to daily take up  our cross and follow you.  Lord, we pray that The people of Loire will be reminded what happen to you on the cross, and what grace cost you and the Father to give to each of us.  Lord,  We desire For the people of France to follow you.  Work in hearts today in Loire.  We pray in the name of Jesus.

Stage 15 Mende / Valence

This Sunday the Tour rode through the southern parts of France from Mende to Valence.  From the region of Languedoc-Rousillon to Rhone Alpes.  Tomorrow they will be riding in to  Gap.  Today was the last day for the sprinters till the the ride into Paris.  It was a fight for the line and I hope your favorite crossed the line in good time.

Father we continue to pray for the southern region of France.  Today we pray for the mothers and wives as they raise their children as they teach them to love You.  Lord, please bring strength and blessing to each mom as the work hard each day to give to their kids a good life.  Lead them to You.  We pray in the name of Jesus.  Amen.

Drôme 26

 Dear Father,
Today we pray for the department of Drôme down in the southern region of Rhone Alpes.  Father the beauty continues as we visit this department.  Lord, we pray for the men in Drôme. We know that Satan desires to kill steal and destroy all that you have created.  Lord, we ask that as boys grow up that you will build a hedge around their eyes, minds, hearts, and souls.  Bring into their lives purity, love, forgiveness, kindness, gentleness, and goodness.  Lord build up strong boys and men who love Your Word and desire to live according to your precepts.  Lord, we pray this very thing for all of our husbands and sons in our own lives.  Lord, we need godly men in France and in every nation in this world.  We pray all this in the name of Jesus the righteous one.  Amen.

Praying for Ardeche

Department of Ardeche in the region Rhone Alpes.

Heavenly Father, we thank you for being the Good Shepherd who cares for his sheep.  Father, to lead, guide and provide for us.  You lead us to green pastures and let us rest beside still waters.  You restore our souls.  Father we pray that people of Ardeche will follow You.  We pray trust You through the valleys in life as You lead them with Your rod and staff.  Father I pray that they will trust in You for all of their needs.  Thank you Father for being our Good Shepherd.  We pray all these things in the name of Jesus our Shepherd.  Amen.

Ardèche 07

Ardèche is Department 07 found in the Rhone-Alpes.  This region has been inhabited for a long time.  The paintings in the caves records the beginning. In the past this area was named Vivarais is reflected in their coat of arms.  This area was fought over in the  Religious Wars.  Today many leave the area due to the economics.  Many come to this department to enjoy the outdoor activities.

Father, we pray that the churches in the area will find ways to be your hands and feet to the people in Ardèche.  Let them reach out to those in need.  Open doors in marriages that are struggling.  Create friendship between the young and the old.  Strengthen the influence the local churches have on the people in their communities.  Lord, allow your love to shine in this department so people will be drawn to you.  We pray all these things in the name of Jesus our King.  Amen
