The British powerhouse called Team Sky rides with yellow on the back of Chris Froome as they take on the first HC climb of this Tour.  Team Sky seems to be built around the task of getting Froome up and over each mountain in the Pyrenees and than in the Alps. 

Father,

Thank you for being our shepherd, one who leads us by the still waters and up on the mountains and down in the valleys.  Father, I pray that Team sky will look to You as their shepherd.  I pray that as they cycle over the mountains that they will look to you for their help.  Father, soften hearts to be willing to follow You.  We pray in the name of Jesus.  Amen

Team Sky

Team Sky dominated in this tour. Bradley in yellow, Chris in second, and Mark wining sprints.  Between the three of them they won 6 of the 20 stages.  Bradley is the first British cyclist to win the Tour de France.  Next comes the Olympics.  Best to Team Sky as they race for gold in London.

Lord, Thank you for a great time of prayer for France and for all who ride in the tour.  Be with Team Sky as they continue to ride, we pray they will all soon know you as Lord and Savior and will ride for your honor and glory.  Bring the gospel story into their lives so that they can choose to know you.  We pray all these things in the name of Jesus, our Savior.  Amen.

Honorable Bradley

Bradley showed himself worthy of the yellow jersey.  There is nothing in the rule books that says Bradley had to wait on Evans yesterday, but Bradley decided to play by the Golden Rule.  Do to others as you would have them do to you Luke 6:31.  It is good to see kindness done when others are unkind.  The Tour has a way of reveling a persons character. 

Team Sky

Team Sky is a British Team that is making their mark in the world of cycling. Yesterday we saw them climb with a purpose to put the Yellow Jersey on the back of Wiggins.  Sky is driven with a purpose and they have put together a team with loads of talent.  Pray that as they pursue their purpose they will learn that God has a purpose for their lives.  

Lord, we pray that each member of this team.  We desire for them to know you and to know the plans that you have planned for each one of them.  Lord, bring people who know you around Team Sky to live as examples of your love. Give them opportunities to speak of you.  Let Team Sky hear about you and see how much you love them and the price you have paid to give them your love. Lord we pray all these things in the name of Jesus, your gift of love.  Amen.   

Team Sky

Team Sky  comes to represent the United Kingdom.  They have had a mix bag of joy and sorrow over the last 3 weeks.  Their dreams of GC were crushed very early, but Bossen Hagen has given them reasons to be happy.

Dear Father,  We pray for the team members of Team Sky and all who support them.  Lord, we thank you for all the missionaries from Great Britain who have come to France to share their faith in you.  I ask that they receive a blessing for their faithfulness.  We pray that this team will be one who loves and honors you.  We thank you for their wins this year.  We pray for these men to day in the name of Jesus.  Amen.
