A prayer for the Church in France

1I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
2My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.
3He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
4Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
5The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand.
6The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.
7The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.
8The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
(Psalm 121, King James Version)

Lord, today we ride into the alps.  Thank you for this beautiful reminder that our help comes from you.  Thank you for my Christian brothers and sisters in France and I pray that as our eyes look to the alps on this day that we are reminder that you are not only our help but also our keeper.  Thank you for keeping us on this day and for every day forward.  Thank you for preserving us for evermore.  I pray in the name of Jesus my Lord, my help and keeper.  Amen.

  1. I appreciate so much your passion in leading us in prayer for our French brothers and sisters, robin! I have been part of 4 missions teams to France and have dear friends all over the country, but many serving in the Alps area. I echo your prayer today that they would look up to Him and God would favor them with His help and make them strong and effective in reaching their country for Christ. Pray on!
