He is our Strength

 Ephesians 3 :14-17
For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom his whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith.

He has told us to go out into this world and to do this we must leave the security, comfort, of our sterile Christian world and live in and around those who are in pain.  The lost world outside of our door is filled with hate, violence, hunger, loneliness, confusion, and all the sin we do not want to see, but Jesus our Lord has asked us to go.  He has also provided us with the power through his Spirit in our inner being.  He promises us that he will be with us as we go to tell the world of his great love.  Going is not easy, for we must truly look pain in the eyes and see the destruction a life without Jesus endures.  Go in Him and tell of His great love.

Lord, thank you for providing us with the power to go.  We bless you for the Holy Spirit which you have given us to provide us with your presence and strength.  Lord, thank you for all the fruit of the Spirit which has be deposited into our hearts.  Lord, fill us and use us as we go.  Give us that kick in the pants and send us out the door.  Help us to build relationships with those who have never thought of you.  Prepare hearts for your message and let me speak of thee with and through your strength and powerful love.  I pray in the name of Jesus, Our Lord and Savior.  Amen.
