“For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly
waits for the revealing of the sons of God… For we know that the whole
creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now… He who
did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He
not with Him also freely give us all things?” Romans 8:19, 22, 32
A few years ago our family took a trip to Haiti, and when we were there I understood how much creation is harmed by our sins. In Haiti you can see many examples of what Satan has to offer. Christ came to deliver all of creation from the curse of the fall. It will be wonderful when our Lord reigns for a thousand years here on this earth and then for all eternally I wonder how much creation will rejoice over the fact that He is here?
Father, your creation in France is filled with beauty and tranquility, but it too is marred by our sin. Thank you for redeeming us and one day You will restore creation. Until that day I pray that many people of France will come to know you as creator, redeemer, and friend. Lord, I pray that you will send missionaries from the churches in France to minister to the people in Haiti. We will wait for You to reign here on earth as King of Kings and Lord, of lords. We pray all these things in the name Jesus, our creator. Amen
