This year we will attempt to pray through the tour one more time. So in preparation I have been reading the life of John Hyde, know as Praying Hyde and it has taught me concept concerning prayer that I hope to be able to share with you throughout the Tour. My prayer for this tour is not only for the people of France but also for us who pray for France and her people. My pray for us is that we will learn one truth found in Romans 8: 31-34.What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us? 32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things? 33 Who will bring a charge against God’s elect? God is the one who justifies;34 who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is He who died, yes, rather who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us.
CHRIST intercedes for US.
Lord, as we follow the Tour through the nation of France and some of her neighboring nations, we pray that you will intercede for us. My words are nothing, so Lord, I ask that your prayer life will enter into us and pray in us through your Holy Spirit. Break our hearts once more for the people of France. Obey our eyes to the sin in us that hinders us to pray and allow us to hear your prayers and your desires for the people of France. We humbly pray in your Holy name Jesus. Amen.
