Lorraine has battle scars and rich history. Joan of Arc is one of the most famous warriors from this battle field, but many more followed in the centuries to follow. The web site About France.com has a wonderful page on the history and people of Lorraine.
Lorraine borders three neighboring nations of Germany, Luxembourg and Belgium and consist of 4 departments, (54) Meurthe-et-Moselle, (55) Meuse, (57) Moselle, and (88) Vosges.
We will pray that Lorraine will rely on God to guide them.
To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace. Luke 1: 79
Lord, we need you as the light of the world and as our guide. We know that we are lost without you. Lord, continue to shine light into Lorraine and remove the darkness in our hearts, guide our feet into the way of peace here in Lorraine. We pray in the name of Jesus our light and guide. Amen.
