Today has been a roller coaster ride of emotions for team Trek. From the maillot jaune in the GC race to receiving the news of Fabian Canellara loosing the maillot jaune and departing the race due to injuries.
Father we pray for team Trek as they adjust to the changes needed to be made from the events of the day. Lord, give them the will to move forward without Cancellara. I know they are all professional riders and this is just part of racing, but yet when you are tired physically it is so hard to stay mentally strong. Lord, we pray that they will lean on you for their mental strength. I pray that Paul's words, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthened me will be spoken and believed over the next few days. Lord, we pray that you will have the freedom to work in the lives of Team Trek. We pray all these things in the name of Jesus our strength. Amen.
