Father, you see all the people waiting on the moutain. Many have been here for days camping with friends and riding the mountain tops just to see if they too can ride or hike. Father, we know that life is alot like this race. We have mountain top experiences and then we decend to the valley. Lord, we pray that many will know that you are with them on the mountain and in the valley too. You have promised never to leave us, and so we know that in life you walk with us and it is up to us to know that you are there. Thank you for going with us through our mountains and valleys. Be with the people of who call the alps their home. Walk with them through their lives. We pray all these things in the name of Jesus. Amen

Étape 10 Mâcon > Bellegarde-Sur-Valserine.
Today is the first HC climb of this years tour. The riders will leave Mâcon and ride to the top of Col du Grand Colombier, which stands 1,501 meters tall. Today we do not stay on the top of the mountain but desend to the city Bellegarde-sur-Valserine. The people will come and stand on the side of the road as they wait for the riders to fight their way to the top. The crowds will wait and they will cheer for the next three days as we watch for a champion to defeat the Alpine peaks of France.
